the knicks next move Well the knicks got themselves a decent draft choice with their sixth pick, but they have so much more to do . They need to get a compitent point guard or hope that Marbury can still do the job. They also need a power foward who can move and play both sides of the ball. David Lee and Renaldo Balkman play great defense and are quick but thier offense is limited. They must also try to trade either Zack Randolph or Eddie Curry. They cant keep both since they are both the same type of ballplayer and when they are on the court at the same time they seem to get in each others way.Above all the knicks need to get younger and faster and whenever possible cut back as much salary cap as they can. This will not be a one year task, or even two. All they can hope for this year would be to start the rebuilding in earnest and at the same time try to have a respcetable won and loss record. There are a lot of possibilties of trades and free agent siginings, but the trick will be to get good players without taking on new big contracts. One sign one can look at to see where the knicks may be going will be is when they present their rookie roster for the Vegas Summer League. That is where draft choices and players who were not drafted are signed and show what they can do. Sometimes you can pick up a player or two that way with costing too much money or other players.
We shall see where this all goes, since the knicks new front office constantly makes a point that they have a direct plan in place to get this team going. ----------STAY TUNED
