Wonder Woman, on the case

Wonder Woman (Lynda Cater), a name know best from the show in the 1970s as a crime fighter is still at work it seems. Lynda Cater aka Wonder Woman was boating on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. when she spotted a body The actress says she "did what anybody would have done" when she called for help and stayed near the corpse until rescuers arrived.

Wonder Woman is a superhero DC Comics appearing in comics, cartoons and films. It was created by William Moulton Marston, was his first appearance in the magazine All Star Comics No. 8 (December 1941). It is one of the first superheroínas and is arguably the most popular of its kind.

Marston devised the Wonder Woman character as a purely feminist and most of the writers described the case.

History
Wonder Woman is Princess Diana of the Amazon. It took its name from the goddess of hunting.

It was formed at the outset by her mother in a clay figure. He was awarded life by the plea of her mother (Hippolyta) to the goddess Aphrodite. Conceived in this way by grace of a goddess, Diana grew the most beautiful amazon of Paradise Island, with the wisdom of Athena, as strong as Hercules and more agile and fast that Hermes.

The success of this pilot did that when it became a regular television, also starring Linda Carter and Lyle Waggoner. After the first season, the series changed hands. The ABC conceded the rights to CBS, which showed new adventures of Wonder Woman but with a touch more modern and atmosphere this time in 1976.
