He was raw with obscenities and vulgarity in his language, yet there was just something lovable about him. He would come out on a stage, it was almost as if he were 3D. His presence was enormous.
Bernard Jeffrey McCullough, Bernie Mac (Chicago, October 5, 1957 - August 9, 2008) was an actor and American theater.
Mac worked at the Legal and Theatre was formed in the parks of Chicago when he was small. It became a professional comedian in 1977 at age 19.
In 1992 he made his film debut with a small action in Mo Money (1992). This was the first of a series of films in which then appeared, but all minor characters, and usually comedies, including Whos the Man? (1993), House Party 3 (1994) and The Walking Dead (1995).
Since 1995 his career was on the rise. That year made an HBO special called Midnight Mac (Mac midnight) and played a shepherd in the comedy of Chris Tucker, Friday. In 1996 he appeared in Spike Lees film, Get on the Bus, and Do not Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. At that time did participate in the series Moesha. The following movies were more substantial, Def Jams How to Be a Player (1997) and The Players Club (1998). In 1999, Bernie had their greater participation in a film, so far, Life, with Eddie Murphy.
He also worked on Oceans Eleven and its two sequels, and more recently in the film produced by Steven Spielberg, Transformers.
On August 9, 2008 died in Chicago because of a complication of pneumonia that suffered.
