Homemade Oil Makeup Remover

Research shows that using natural remedies on the face has a proven positive effect on slowing down or reversing the aging process. Here are a few simple all-natural homemade oil makeup removers that can handle even the toughest mascara – and save you money, too.

Olive oil

Compared to general makeup removers, olive oil is a milder option for your eyelids and eye bags, it is easier on your skin and doesn’t leave a stinging or burning sensation. Simply dip a cotton ball in olive oil and gently wipe away your makeup. Olive oil is also suitable for all skin types and along with being good for your health, it contains the same healthy fats as avocado, which plumps and moisturizes the skin with a combination of vitamin E and vitamin A, making it a very good choice for your skin.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil can also be used for makeup removal, especially if you have dry skin as it moisturizes your skin. All you have to do is take a small scoop of the oil and let the warmth from your hands naturally melt it into liquid form and rub the liquid all over your face to dissolve and lift away your foundation or concealer, then wipe everything away with a cotton ball or tissue.

Avocado oil

While almond oil is the best option for oily skin, avocado oil is great for dry skin.  It removes makeup and moisturizes your skin. In case you don’t have avocado oil in your house and have the fruit, you can use that as well. Grab a Q-tip and lightly rub it on the green flesh of the fruit, aiming to graze the surface for the oils, rather than collecting chunks of the fruit and just wipe away your makeup.

These natural ingredients can help your skin regain its natural, dewy glow and help reduce wrinkles. Give these natural options a shot as it might be worth it!
