Best Kitchen Ingredient To Exfoliate Your Body

We all know that consuming spinach is great for your eyes and an apple (or banana) a day keeps a doctor away. But did you know that something you have lying on your kitchen could be as great as expensive products and scrubs? Read on to find out the best kitchen ingredient to exfoliate your body.

One of the key steps to having radiant, younger looking skin is to get of the old and dry dead skin cells. New skin cells are created in the skin’s inner layer (dermis). As newer skin cells form, the old skin is pushed to the outer layer of the skin (epidermis). These dead cells make your complexion look dull and rough and some even clog your pores causing acne and other blemishes.

The best way to remove these dead cells is to exfoliate regularly with sugar, something easily found in every kitchen. Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, which boosts new cell production and breaks down the dead cells hanging onto your skin.

For exfoliating, pure sugar crystals work the best. All you’ve got to do is mix a handful of sugar crystals with a tad bit of grease (like oil or butter). Before mixing this paste, add a teaspoon of baking soda into the ingredients. This will get rid of your blackheads, whiteheads and excess oil on your skin. Then mix all these ingredients and scrub it on your face and body in a circular motion for about two minutes.

Once done, rinse and wash your face and body as you always do to reveal an improved complexion. Try this once a week and you’ll be pleased with your optimum skin condition in no time!
